This is arguably the most popular cut of all steaks and for good reason. The marbling is plentiful yet not excessive. The incredible flavour and natural tenderness of this steak makes it a safe bet for impressing even the most demanding meat lovers. “Prime” is the highest quality rating of beef in the USDA grading system based on a very meticulous inspection system that, in short, measures the marbling and maturity of a beef carcass.
No two steaks are alike and there are no exact dimensions for a particular weight size. However, in order to give you a rough idea of the typical dimensions of the sizes we have on offer, please refer to the pictures on our left. From left to right, we have the 8oz, 10oz and 12oz rib eye steaks placed side by side.
Weights listed are only approximate and may have a +/-10% variance (however, this usually means the item weighs a bit more than the listed weight).
