Emmental – Commonly known quite simply as ‘Swiss’ cheese. Our French Comté region of France near the Swiss border has been making Emmental cheese for almost as long as the Swiss.
Emmental is delicious served on its own, topping with salad, cheese platter, thinly sliced on bagels or toast or in croque monsieur.
Weights listed are only approximate and may have a +/-10% variance (however, this usually means the item weighs a bit more than the listed weight).
